India has already won its bid to host the prestigious G20 for the year 2019. But the grapevine suggests that Indian government is in talks to host the meet a year ahead of schedule in 2018. Also 2018 will be the year of presidency for India and being the host country then will boost country image. Preponing the meet will also help the government focus on the elections, as the country goes to general elections in 2019. The year-long G20 Presidency involves hosting world’s most powerful leaders at a summit and the Indian government would like to take up the responsibility without the distraction of a national polls.
Pragati Maidan Convention Centre

The good news for the Indian MICE Industry is that the construction and delivery of the world-class centre shall take place at a neck-break speed, to give the leaders an experience like never before.
